The highly publicized 2013 murder trial of Jodi Arias featured competing testimony by forensic psychologists. Here, for purposes of ethics exercises and discussions in forensic psychology, are two brief videos excerpting the conflicting opinions of psychologists Richard Samuels (the defense expert) and Janeen DeMarte (the prosecution’s rebuttal witness) on the propriety of giving an accused a self-help book while conducting a forensic examination. The videos are also available on my YouTube channel.
